Located 19km / 12 miles northwest of Bonners Ferry, this wildlife sanctuary is called the Wetland of Dreams. Ball Creek is 931 hectares / 2,300 acres, with 6.5 km / 4 miles of Kootenai River shoreline, two tributaries (Ball & Trout Creek), over 220 bird species, and is an important migration corridor for wildlife in the Selkirk and Cabinet/Yaak ecosystems. There are no on-site facilities.
