The Two Nation Birding Vacation experience was created through a dedicated partnership of multiple organizations and individuals. The purpose of the partnership is to develop and promote sustainable birding and eco-tourism within the region. The region is defined as a portion of the Kootenays in south-eastern British Columbia, Canada and parts of the northwest United States.
This initiative could not have been made possible with out the funding support from the Regional District of Central Kootenay and the Columbia Basin Trust.
A huge thanks goes directly to the project team members: Alan Burt, Anne de Jager, Carol Graham, Chris Drysdale, Dianna Ellis, Janice Cooper, Jikke Stegeman, Marc-Andre Beaucher and Mike Rowland. Each of these individuals contributed a wealth of knowledge and time either representing birding or tourism. Below are links to the organizations who collaborated to bring this exciting birding tourism product to market.
